PLATFORMAVIDEO9

In this section, video films from around the world of all lengths and genres i.e. fiction, documentary, animation and experimental, compete for the festival's Audience Prize. Following each screening, the audience is asked to vote its favourite film in a specially formatted ballot space outside each screening hall. The winning films are awarded on festival's closing ceremony.

The Audience Prize of Platforma Video9 International Film Festival was awarded to "Gobolino" by Damianos Voganatsis from Greece. The film depicts the children’s primitive fear of being abandoned and rejected from their family, using as causation the listening of a fairy tale

20 ταινίες μυθοπλασίας, τεκμηρίωσης και κινουμένων σχεδίων από την Ελλάδα και όλον τον κόσμο που δημιουργήθηκαν με χρήση του βίντεο και των νέων μέσων, δεν έχουν υποστεί μεταγραφή (transfer) σε φιλμ και έχουν μέγιστη διάρκεια 45 λεπτών, επιλέγονται για να διαγωνισθούν για το Μέγα Βραβείο της ΠΛΑΤΦΟΡΜΑΣ ΒΙΝΤΕΟ8.
