Director

The arab – Israeli director, screenwriter and producer Ibtisam Salh Mara'ana, has been awarded internationally for her documentaries “Paradise Lost", "Al-Jiser - the Bridge”, "Badal", "Three Times Divorced", as well as for her latest production “Lady Kul El Arab" (2008).  She graduated the school of cinema and television Givat Haviva and since then she has directed a number of reports for the "Feminine Outlook" and "Arabeska" programs on Israel's Channel One. Her award winning documentary on unrecognized Arab villages inside Israel "Wake up to the Native Land" was aired on Israel's Channel Two. She has collaborated as assistant director with Simon Bitton, Ram Levi, and Duki Dror, while her main point of interest focuses on the position of women in the Arab-Israeli world.
