Graduated from Stockholm Film Academy and continued his studies in History at Stockholm University. Since 2001 he is Head of film production company Randolph Scott. He has edited and directed several short films, such as the awarded at International Film Festival PLATFORMA VIDEO8 “Galetten”. He has also edited documentaries, the last one being “Children of Buena Vista” for Svenska Filminstitutet. During his career he has edited several TV series such as Babyboom and Drickbart (2006) for Kanal 5, as well as many commercials. Moreover John Hellberg is producer, director and scriptwriter of music videos like Dismember – Trail of the dead and Raise Hell – City of the damned among others. Along with Randolph Scott Production Company he has edited artistic installations, one of which has participated at Moscow Art Biennale 2008.
